Fleming’s Selection Hotel Wien-City – Charming and unique
Fleming's Selection Hotel Wien-City is situated in a central location in the elegant 8th district of Vienna, Josefstadt, directly behind the Vienna City Hall. Famous attractions such as the Hofburg, the State Opera and Stephansdom are within walking distance. You can reach the Ringstrasse by taking a short 5-minute walk, and the Heldenplatz is 10 minutes away. The airport is located at a 20 minutes drive.

In the centre of the eighth district – Josefstadt

As one of the smallest Viennese districts, Josefstadt is not only the starting point for discovering the historic centre, but its beautiful architecture with buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th century also make it really worth a visit. Today, the district is characterised by a young and urban population, various cultural institutions, small cafés, alternative shops and typical Viennese pubs called “Beisln”. Fleming's Selection Hotel Wien-City is located in the eastern part of the district which borders on the first district. The latter is part of Vienna’s historic centre and was declared UNESCO World Heritage in 2001.

History of the house

Fleming's Selection Hotel Wien-City owes its special charm to its listed façade, which tells many stories: from a former champagne factory, damages suffered during WWII, to the Vienna Gas Company up until today’s hotel. Many hints at the different stages of its history can be found inside and around the building, such as the historic gas lamp in front of the hotel or the plaque commemorating its opening in 1910 in the lobby. The nice flight of stairs leading to the lobby, the historic staircase and the wide, high corridors illuminated by daylight make the house particularly charming and unique.

Simple, elegant and first-class

The 5-star Standard, non-classified hotel offers guests a selection of 184 air-conditioned rooms in 3 different categories and 23 particularly well-equipped suites. Every modern room contains a typical Fleming granite bathroom with free-standing glass showers – whether it be standard rooms, deluxe variants or suites. A special highlight in Fleming’s Selection Hotel Wien-City are the beautiful city-view rooms, which offer a breathtaking view of the roofs of the city of Vienna.

Enjoy delicious food with the finest ingredients

The finest cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere – that is the philosophy of both restaurants of Fleming's Selection Hotel Wien-City. Chef Andrè Reuter and his team conjure up delicious dishes with an added touch. On the menu, you will find high-quality steaks as well as fish, seafood or classics of the French brasserie cuisine. But Viennese delicacies do not come up short either. Our cooks use only fresh ingredients from selected suppliers. And our comprehensive wine list is also a classic, with a selection of national and international quality wines.

First-class conferences

The large conference centre has 4 fully air-conditioned meeting rooms with daylight and 2 boardrooms. These can be connected together and offer an individual setting for meetings, banquets or conferences. The technical equipment with electric window blinds, free high-speed internet access (WiFi), ceiling beamers, centrally controlled media technology for different pre-programmed technical scenarios and network access leaves nothing to be desired.

Relaxation in the city spa

Fleming's Selection Hotel Wien-City offers a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna, a steam bath and a fitness area which is open 24/7.
