"I must say that the local DMC saved our lives in Budapest. The pre-planning of the program went very well. Margot and Ilona took very good care of me on my site inspection and they had a very good grasp of what my client was looking for, and stayed in constant contact with me during the planning stages.
Regarding the local staff - we had a very demanding program with a wide range of issues and the local hostesses that were with us did an amazing job. The planners from our team were pulled in every direction and the hostesses really took a lot of stress off of us by taking their duties (transfers, tours, basic local questions) and running with them. They were so self-sufficient and after giving them a run-through of what we needed - I never had to give direction again. I've hired enough local bad and mediocre staff in my time to realize when you have an awesome group of local staff.
