Hotel Sacher Salzburg

Founded as the "Österreichischer Hof", the Hotel Sacher Salzburg was opened in 1866 by its owner and hotelier Karl Irresberger. Its wonderful location on the bank of the Salzach River was only one of the reasons why the Hotel soon achieved worldwide acclaim.
Luxurious facilities, tradition and atmosphere as well as the magnificent view of the festival city are the reasons why members of reigning families, aristocrats and members of the high clergy as well as artists were and still are guests of the Hotel.
116 individually furnished rooms and suites are decorated with original oil paintings, precious rugs and silk wall covering. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, cable-TV, radio, minibar, safe, bathrobes and Internet access.

We cater gala evenings and receptions in the Residenz Palace, Castle Hellbrunn, in the Mozart Museum and private villas of Salzburg.
